Wildfire Plans
Gilliam County has several wildfire mitigation and hazard protection plans. The Gilliam County Community Wildfire Protection Plan was updated in 2022.
In 2023, Gilliam County received a strategic investment from Oregon State Fire Marshal to complete a county-wide Wildfire Hazard Assessment and a Vegetation Management Plan.
